Yrneh Gabon Brown Visits for BAILA con Duende
Jamaican-born visual artist Yrneh Gabon Brown works in a variety of media, including metal, clay, paint, wood, video and performance. His work is informed by his socio-political concerns. These studio visits with Yrneh were conducted and photographed on August 7 and August 20, 2012 by Lili Bernard in Los Angeles, for the curating of BAILA con Duende. The location of the visits were the homes of artists Joseph Sims and CCH Pounder, friends of Yrneh’s who allow him to store some of his work at their place.
