Bernard Hoyes Studio Visit for Caribbean Canvases
Jamaican-born visual artist Bernard Hoyes is a painter and sculptor. He received a BFA from California College of Arts & Crafts Oakland. Collected world-wide by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Bernard is an artist whose colorful paintings have long been celebrated in the Pan-African Diaspora. This studio visit with Bernard was conducted and photographed on May 10, 2012 by Lili Bernard in Los Angeles, for the curating of Caribbean Canvases.
