Samella Lewis is a visual artist, educator, art historian, curator, activist and highly-published author.  Her work is collected nation-wide. This studio visit with Dr. Lewis was conducted and photographed on July 27, 2012 by Lili Bernard in Los Angeles, for the curating of BAILA con Duende.
