BAILA roundtables are focused and educational discussions that occur between BAILA (and BAILA patrons) and mainstream art organizations. Participating organizations have included Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Hammer Museum UCLA, California African American Museum, Watts Towers Arts Center Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, Otis College of Art and Design, Mat Gleason (Coagula Art Journal & Coagula Curatorial), Leimert Park Vision Theatre Los Angeles, Golden State Mutual Legacy Foundation, and Karen Atkinson’s GYST (Getting Your Sh*t Together).
The next roundtable will occur on November 4, 2014 with the Getty Research Institute.
