Zeal Harris Studio Visit for Colonialism: The Collective Unconscious

Edgy and provocative, Zeal Harris’ richly-composed canvases of cartoon-like figures are critical commentaries of history and contemporary Black American life.  Zeal holds an MFA from Otis College of Art and Design. This studio visit with Zeal was conducted and photographed by Lili Bernard on September 2, 2011, for the curating of Colonialism: The Collective Unconscious.
